No 1 Recruit Rashan Gary picks Michigan

No 1 consensus recruit in 2016 class, Rashan Gray, chose to join Michigan over Clemson on Wednesday on the ESPN 2. “I have picked Michigan because, this is one place where I feel a lot more comfortable. That’s the place where my family also felt comfortable and that’s the palace where I felt hat the academy of the support holds a lot of degree and i going to help me for lifetime goal.”
Gary has made he trip to and from the announcement to the ESPN’s studio in Bristol via na ESPN provided limousine. He also fazed in his letter of intend after the da he arrived back at hi high school.
Gary who is 5 foot 5 inch and weighs about 293 pounds was American Family Insurance All USA Defensive Player of the Year. He had scored 13.5 sacks and 55 tackles in the nine games and had also forced fur fumbles and came back with punt for a uochdown. Along with this Gary, Michigan’s recruiting class moved into the top five of all the major recruiting services.
Michigan’s defensive co-ordinator Don Brown said that”Rashan is a difference maker. He can rush to he edge and is extremely talented and physical. He is also a great motor and likes to play hard. We can play him at any of the four defensive line positions. I am really impressed with how hard he plays in the Under Armour All American Game.”
Gary said that his decision has come very late. He adds that “Coming in to this day, I was talking o both the coaches. It cam down to settling down and really going through the process and then God send me a signal and It really felt amazing.”
Former Paramus Catholic head coach Chris Partridge is Wolverine’s linebackers with the special teams coach. The former Paramus Catholic player Jabril Peppers and Juwann Buhell Beaty are both entering into their third year at the Michigan and the two of the Gray’s best friends in the 2016 class. Kareem Walker and the Michael Dwumfour from the DePaul Catholic are the Michigan signees.
Gary who is the third 2015 All USA first team player of the Wolverines, as Arrowhead offensive tackler BenBredeson and kicker Quinn Nordin from the Rockford, Mich. Signed to the Wolverines on the Wednesdays.
Along with this addition of the Gary, the Wolverines have 28 signees. This is the first No. 1 recruit in the Michigan and has landed since the Rivals.com began doing the rankings in the year 2002.
Michigan coach Jim harbough said that “We are so excited about all the signees and from top to the bottom. The youngsters have had a real heart for competing. They have worked so hard that it has put themselves in a very good position to be there.”
